Background:
Gainesville Regional Utilities granted an ingress-egress easement to Alachua County across a portion of tax parcel number 06837-000-000 as recorded April 7, 1975 in Official Records Book 935, Page 282 and 283 of the public records of Alachua County, Florida. This easement was granted in order to allow access to tax parcel number 06836-004-000, County owned property at Lake Kanapaha.
Gainesville Regional Utilities granted a replacement ingress-egress easement to Alachua County across a portion of tax parcel number 06837-000-000 as recorded January 16, 2015 in Official Records Book 4325, Page 171 of the public records of Alachua County, Florida to allow access to tax parcel number 06836-004-000.
Gainesville Regional Utilities is requesting that Alachua County release a portion of the ingress-egress easement as recorded in Official Records Book 935, Page 282 that is no longer needed by the County.
Alachua County staff determined that a portion of the ingress-egress easement as recorded in Official Records Book 935, Page 282 can be released because there is a replacement easement recorded in Official Records Book 4325, Page 171 that allows access to tax parcel number 06836-004-000.
