On January 22, 2019 the BOCC approved funding for the Lake Alto Dock Improvements in the amount of $60,000 from the Boating Improvement Fund and funding for the Lake Alto Restroom Project in the amount of $100,000 from the Boating Improvement Fund.

Background:
Lake Alto Park currently offers a boat launch, paved parking lot and play area and is connected to Lake Alto North and South Preserves, totaling 685 acres of contiguous property. The existing fixed wooden dock is not ADA compliant and is not always usable depending water levels in the lake.
