Background:
At the January 28, 2020 meeting, the other budget and financial policies were reviewed and approved. The Debt Service, Energy Conservation, Financial Management, Citizen Initiated MSBU, and Public Purpose Policies were unchanged from FY20. Budget Management and Performance Management policies were changed.
This revised policy has been completely rewritten to align with Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) Best Practices through collaboration with the Clerk’s office and Deputy County Managers’ staff.
