Description:
A request by CHW, Inc., agent, for 8115, LLC, owners, to rezone from the R-1aa (1 to 3 dwelling units/acre) to R-1a (1 to 4 dwelling units/acre). The site is located on SW 8th Ave. and is approximately 5.3 acres. If approved, residential uses (such as a subdivision) consistent with the new density range would be permitted.

Background:
The parcel is located on SW 8th Ave. The owner wishes to rezone to the R-1a district with the intent of creating a future subdivision. The proposed rezoning would implement the Future Land Use designation of Low Density Residential (1 to 4 dwelling units/acre). The parcel is surrounded by developed, low density residential subdivisions. Future development at the site will be required to have access at both SW 8th Ave. and at an existing road stub out to the southwest of the site at SW 9th Ln.
