Background:
This is funding from the Dept. of Justice, through the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Grant (JAG) program. It is a direct allocation but requires an application. The City and County are in a disparate funding category which requires one entity to submit the application and distribute funding as agreed on through a MOU. The joint allocation is $106,697, with $42,624 allocated to the County and $64,073 allocated to the City.
