The Florida Supreme Court has granted oral argument in the case of Alachua County vs. Sadie Darnell, Case #SC19-2016. The County Attorney seeks approval from the Board of County Commissioners to increase the cap that was set out in the agreement dated May 20, 2020, from $65,000 for post jurisdictional briefing and preparation to $75,000. Please see the attached letter agreement with Sylvia Walbolt of Carlton Fields.
