Background:

The Alachua County Healthcare Advisory Board is comprised of 19 members plus one alternate. Eight of the positions are reserved for nomination by specific agencies and 11 are designated for applicants with specific expertise. Karen Billings and Mary Burg both have expertise as healthcare professionals. Both have also agreed to serve as either Healthcare Professional or as an Alternate.
