Background:
SB 62 would remove all references to regional planning councils from Florida Statutes. The State’s 10 regional planning councils provide a variety of services including economic development, transportation, emergency preparedness, regional convening and resilience, to name a few. The attached resolution opposes Senate Bill 62 and asks our State Legislature to do likewise.
