Description:
The Library District's Board ofTrustees consists of seven members appointed by the Library District Governing Board. Three of the seven are Alachua County Representatives, three are City of Gainesville Representatives, and one is an Alachua County League of Cities Representative.
The current term of County Representative Larry McDaniel expires on March 31, 2021. Mr. McDaniel is eligible for reappointment.
The Library District advertised one Alachua County vacancy and one City of Gainesville vacancy from January 4, 2021 - February 5, 2021. Three applications for the Alachua County position were received. The Library District Governing Board is requesting nomination of the applicants.
