Background:
The U.S. Department of Treasury awarded $8,123,938.00 million to Alachua County Board of County Commissioners to assist eligible households who have difficulties in paying their rental obligations as a result of COVID-19 Pandemic.
On 1/26/2021, the BoCC accepted the U.S.Treasury Award of $8.1 milllion
On 2/23/2021, the BoCC approved an agreement with Carrs, Riggs, & Ingram (CRI) for Program Administration and Implementation
On 2/23/2021, the BoCC provided CRI with some policy direction.
CRI is seeking approval of BoCC of programmatic policies to assist in the administration and implementation of the ERA program. CRI has conducted several stakeholder meetings with community advocates and rental/property managers to receive feedback and input regarding program implementation.
