Description:
Each year the Alachua County staff works with Finance and Accounting to conduct a physical inventory of County property and equipment, per Chapter 69I, Florida Administrative Code. The Departments had items that were missing, previously disposed, or that were under $5,000 and didn’t meet the new capitalization policy. The Clerk has be authorized to remove these items from the County’s Amounts Invested in Property. All procedures were followed.
Recommended Action:
Adopt Resolution authorizing the Clerk of Court to record the loss of the items. The disposal would be effective as of September 30, 2020.
