Background:

Mr. Bill Brown served as the Alachua County Extension Director for 27 years.  During his tenure, he served on many committees to find a suitable location for Alachua County’s new Fairgrounds.  He recently passed away.  The Cattlemen’s Association, Farm Bureau and Extension Director, Dr. Cindy Sanders, support naming the new Extension Office in his honor.
