Description:

Establishes a Joint Food System Policy Board consisting of two representatives of the City of Gainesville, two from the Board of County Commissioners, one representative from IFAS and one citizen representing the rural, agricultural area of Alachua County. The Board will be a Sunshine body and advise the City and County on issues of food sovereignty and the development of food systems to underserved areas and individuals.
