Description:

Growth Management contracts with Codes-ABC, Inc. for third party building plans review as needed. As building permits have increased, there is a need to amend and renew the contract. This Contract Renewal through September 2022 is for $100,000.

There are adequate funds in the Growth Management Building Division to cover this request in account number 410.65.6511.524.31.00 there is currently $100,000 in available funds.

Background:

With the increase in building permits and the statutory-mandated review time frames for building plans review., we continue to need the assistance or our third party plans reviewer.  This request is to extend and increase the contract.  We recently received approval for a third plans reviewer and are currently advertising that position. We hope to have that position filled within the next month.
