Background:
This is a continuation of our Microsoft Enterprise Agreement which is a 3-year contract that is broken down into 3 annual payments. This is the first year of a three year contract. The agreement includes a continuation of our use of Office 365, Exchange mail server, SQL Server, Microsoft Server licenses, and Remote Access licenses. This contract includes a change from running Exchange on premise to running Exchange in the Microsoft Southeast Government Cloud. It also includes licenses for Microsoft Teams which will allow us greater ability to use video conferencing for scheduling testimony, pre-trial meetings, and internal meetings with participants from our other offices.
