Background:
The activities of the Criminal Justice, Mental Health and Substance Abuse Reinvestment Grant Program’s Planning Committee during the past year have been substantive. This Update will convey the progress of the work of the Planning Committee as well as outline opportunities forthcoming on criminal justice and behavioral health system initiatives. Chief among these initiatives is the Sequential Intercept Mapping Workshop for Alachua County which is slated for early October, 2021. The opportunity is sought to present this planning piece in the context of existing programs and services and potentially new efforts being discussed.
