Background:

The Alachua County website is currently installed and built on an aging Network Infrastructure and an almost out of support SharePoint 2010 environment. At this time it is important that ITS migrates the website to newer technology and version of SharePoint. With this migration the Alachua County website will be moving the the Microsoft Azure Cloud and to a newer and more secure version of SharePoint 2020. This migration will give ITS access to online Microsoft Cloud services and tools that are not available for on-site installs, such as automatic server scaling and redundancy during high-volume and use situations.

When the original contract was approved, language was not specific enough to detail the programming involvement from the vendor. This change order clarifies that the vendor will perform remediation steps to fix existing code, but will not generate “new” code.
