Background:

These actions will allow the Jacksonville Port Authority, as Grantee, to apply to the Foreign-Trade Zones (FTZ) Board for authority to serve sites located within Alachua County based on businesses’ trade-related needs.  FTZ-064 will be made available on a uniform basis to companies within Alachua County in a manner consistent with the legal requirement that each FTZ be operated as a public utility.
