Background:

This application is a request for a major amendment to a special exception for agricultural services (landscaping business) on a portion of parcel 07234-000-000. The existing special exception was approved in 1996 for a 3 acre portion of the parcel.  However, these 3 acres were not depicted on any development plan, but only vaguely defined as “the southeast” portion of the parcel. Since then the business has grown and uses related to the special exception have grown, occupying more than the approved 3 acres.  This application, if approved, would expand and clearly define the extent of the special exception. A future office building for the business has been proposed, as shown on the special exception plan.
