Presenter:
Jessica Hurov

Description:
The Easton Sports Development Foundation requests approval to reallocate and extend previously awarded grant funding to include allowable marketing and operations expenses for the FAA FITA Championship, Sunshine State Games, Spider Cup Series, Bow Hunters Challenge, Easton Foundations Gator Cup and Olympic Trials and a Sports Festival. The Sports Festival will be geared towards bringing local and out-of-county participants to see all Alachua County has to offer in youth and adult sports and Gator Cup advertisements will be geared heavily towards bringing participants to attend the last two days and watch our 2021 Olympians being chosen. Previously allocated marketing budget items will be redistributed to advertise the events within the revised scope. The Easton-Newberry Sports Complex is comprised of 100 acres of multi-recreation use and hosts regional and national archery events and programs that focus on training archers and coaches, developing curriculum, and providing a world class venue to host archery events of all sizes and styles.
