Approve the solicitation award and contract for BID 22-72 Annual Processing of Waste Tires to Global Tire Recycling of Sumter County, Inc., in an amount not to exceed (NTE) $125,000.00 annually, as the lowest responsible and responsive bidder meeting specifications, and authorize the Chair to execute same on behalf of the County

Background:
The Agreement with Global Tire Recycling Inc. is for the processing of waste tires collected at the Leveda Brown Environmental Park and Transfer Station. The tires are processed into crumb rubber products such as rubber landscape mulch and crumb rubber turf infill. The Waste Tire Rule 62-711.550 F.A.C. permits no more than 1,500 tires on this site at any given time and also requires that the County have an agreement in place to ensure the removal of tires.
The term of the Agreement is through September 30, 2022 with the option to renew for two (2) additional two (2)-year periods and not to exceed amount of $125,000, annually.
