Background:
Alachua County acquired property by Tax Deeds between January 27, 2020 and May 6, 2021 identified as tax parcels no. 05459-000-000, 05460-004-000, 05519-000-000 and 05515-000-000.
These properties lie within the boundary of the Town of LaCrosse and pursuant to Section 197.592(3) of the Florida Statutes, lands acquired by the County for delinquent taxes in accordance with the law and which are located within the boundaries of an incorporated municipality of the County shall be conveyed to the governing board of the municipality. Once the Resolution and Deed have been executed by the Board Chair they will be forwarded to the Town of LaCrosse for recording in the public records.
