Request Approval of Modification of Grant Agreement for Freedom Center Hurricane Hardening Project
Recommended Action:
Recommended Action
1. Approve the Modification to Grant Agreement Number F0081 for Project Number DEM-SR00032 with the State of Florida Division of Emergency Management for Hurricane Hardening of the Freedom Center Project, and authorize the County Manager to sign this and any future documents relating to the project to ensure timely completion.
2. Adopt the attached Resolution to recognize unanticipated revenue and approve the corresponding budget amendment to increase the budget, and resulting interfund loan, which will be reimbursed by the State upon completion of the project.

Nov. 10, 2020 - Approve the attached State-Funded Grant Agreement to hurricane harden the Freedom Center (project #8214101), and authorize the County Manager to execute and administer the Grant Agreement. Adopt the attached Resolution to recognize unanticipated revenue and approving the corresponding budget amendment to establish the budget, and resulting interfund loan, which will be reimbursed by the State upon completion of the project.
