Background:
The Board amends the budget per requirements established in the Florida Statutes.
In November, called “Carry-forward” to allow budget to bring forward to cover prior year encumbrances, contracts and projects not in the adopted budget.
Amended, if needed, as better financial information from the prior year is revealed and current trends are established.
Amended when the prior year Annual Financial Reports are completed and beginning fund balance are finalized. - Explanation is attached to provide more information.
