Decker Construction Group, LLC as the lowest responsive and responsible bidder meeting specifications for Alachua County Freedom Center Hardening Renovation and authorize the Chair or Manager to execute Contract #12037, once finalized with Decker and approved by the County Attorney's Office, and any other project related documents

Approve the attached Budget Amendment, approve the solicitation award for Bid 22-990, waive the Payment/Performance Bond requirement, approve Contract #12037 with J.E. Decker Construction Group, LLC, and authorize the Chair or Manager to execute same on behalf of the County, and any other project related documents.

This is a reimbursement-based grant from the State of Florida, $200,000. $15,550 was spent in FY21.
Expenses over the $200,000 award will be paid by Parks using Wild Spaces Public Places funding, 021.41.4100.572.46.00. A budget amendment reallocating $9,000 has been included, though the additional costs should be less than that amount.
