Description:

A request by Chris Gmuer of Gmuer Engineering, LLC, agent, for 4800 GCW, LLC owners, to rezone from the Residential/Professional (RP) zoning district to the non-residential planned development (PD) zoning district. The site has a future land use designation of Office/Residential (2 to 4 dwelling units/acre) and is approximately 5 acres, located on tax parcel number 07213-002-000 at 4800 SW 13th St.

Background:

The applicant is requesting to change the zoning designation on the subject parcel from RP district to non-residential PD (Planned Development) district.  The Future Land Use for this parcel is Office/Residential and the applicant wishes to locate an office with a portion used for light assembly and warehousing for an electrical firm in the existing building on the site, which previously housed the Alachua County WorkForce Board.
