BID 22-85 Annual Purchase of Bailing Wire posted on April 27, 2022. Accent Wire & Cable Inc. and Coastal Wire Company, Inc. were the lowest responsive and responsible bidders meeting specifications. Staff is recommending that the bid is awarded to both Accent Wire and Coastal Wire, for the purchase of bailing wire for Alachua County Solid Waste and Resource Recovery. Both vendors will be quoted before placing an order and the award will be to the lowest most responsive vendor per order quote and based on material markup % [actual order cost including markup], and product availability at the time of ordering.
