Approve the use of General Fund Reserves and corresponding Budget Amendment and also approve the Solicitation Award and Contract #13416 for Bid 22-334 to Shine & Company, Inc., in an amount not to exceed (NTE) $756,525.00, which includes a 5% contingency of $36,025.00, as the lowest responsible and responsive bidder meeting specifications. Additionally authorize the Chair to execute the contract on behalf of the County once finalized with the vendor and reviewed and approved by the County Manager and Attorney.

Background:
The Animal Resources and Care facility is over 20 years old and in need of modernization to provide the best care possible for animals.
The Work is limited to removal of the existing crematorium furnace, removal of the lobby raised floor and installation of a new reception desk, minor wall infill and installation of two hollow metal door assemblies, and kennel shade and water protection systems over the outdoor run pens.
