Background:

This application is a request for a major amendment to the Meadowbrook Planned Development (PD). The purpose of this amendment is to redesign and relocate the existing driving range and clubhouse that was built in the mid-1990s. The applicant proposes to construct a two-level driving range that would allow a maximum of 26 hitting bays with internally illuminated targets. Food and beverage service would be integrated into the new clubhouse/driving range. Staff has recommended conditions in order to ensure compatibility of the new driving range/clubhouse with the surrounding Meadowbrook community.
