Approve the above ranking and authorize staff to negotiate a contract for RFP 23-16 Annual Management of the Jonesville Park Ball Facilities with Gatorball Baseball Academy. Should the staff be unable to negotiate a satisfactory contract with the top ranked firm, negotiations with that firm will be terminated. If needed, negotiations with the second ranked firm shall be undertaken in the same manner.

Background:
Ballfields are available for use by the general-public for pickup games at no cost except when games or tournaments are scheduled. There is no cost to the county for these services. Gatorball charges fees for the rental of fields, participation in the recreational programs, and concession operations.
Under the management contract Gatorball provides scheduling services, daily maintenance, recreation programs, concessions, and operates tournaments and other related baseball and softball activities at no cost to the county.
The county provides basic maintenance of the ball fields such as mowing, and repairs to the building and facilities when needed.
