Background:
James Fleming has been cultivating his tropical horticulture business since the mid-1980s. He expanded into the Alachua County area in 1993. Currently, Fleming has over 125 acres and produces a variety of ornamental plants, trees, palms, and shrubs.
Fleming has implemented a variety of different Best Management Practices to measure the health of his plants and protect the native environment surrounding his farm. The Florida Farm Bureau Federation is honored to award a 2022 CARES designation and sign to James Fleming for his continued dedication to being an exemplary environmental steward.
