Approve the solicitation award and issuance of Purchase Orders for ITB 23-20 Annual Horse Stall Cleaning for Alachua County Agriculture and Equestrian Center, to Blackham Contracting Group, LLC., in the amount of $70,000.00, for the cleaning, removing, hauling and legally disposing of the contents of the stalls at the Alachua County Agriculture and Equestrian Center, for the Visitors and Convention Bureau.

Background:
As part of the approved fee schedule, the Agriculture and Equestrian Center (“Center”) charges renters $43 per stall, per weekend, for stall rental, cleaning, hauling and removal of muck. The Center pays the vendor $39.00 per stall serviced and retains $4.00 per stall as the weekend rental fee. The fees charged to renters are in alignment with other north Florida equestrian centers and keep the County competitive in the marketplace while still covering costs for services.
