Background:
• The County has been appointed by the Federal government to administer Justice and Treasury Forfeiture Funds on behalf of the Sheriff.
• The Sheriff has previously administered these funds through the Sheriff’s accounting records.
• The Sheriff will request these funds as needed similar to the State Forfeiture Fund that is currently administered by the BOCC.
