Background:

At the 11/8/22 Meeting, the Board approved the WorkForce ready software that will upgrade the current timekeeping processes and anticipated future requirements. The system will provide shift and project codes, direct funding from grants, and automates processes that are currently entered manually.

Today’s contract is for the TeleStaff Scheduling portion of the WorkForce ready programming. It moves the entire application to the cloud.  This software is specified in the Fire Contract that they will use this contract.  For Fire Rescue Services to be able to use it with the other systems in place, this upgrade to the cloud must be done for the systems to communicate properly. This update also increases the number of licenses from 300 to 350. The increase in the number of premium licenses is due to the additional FTEs added related to the Kelly day schedule implementation. The additional costs for the licenses exceeds the cost of transitioning to the cloud based system.
