Background:
A full member position recently became vacant because a member moved out of county and another was removed due to attendance. Because the term ending date is the same for both vacancies, the Commission can appoint both applicants. This action will result in an alternate member vacancy, as Corey Williams currently serves as our alternate member. The Arts Council is a seven-member board, plus one alternate, who has various responsibilities and duties including, but not limited to, making arts related recommendations to the Board. The Council was established in Feb. 2018.
