Background:

The County has a number of roofs that will need work in the coming months.  Use of a pre-existing agreement streamlines the procurement process as it does not repeat the work already done by an equivalent entity.  This addendum modifies the terms to suit the County’s needs and will allow work to proceed on an as-needed basis.

This purchase is exempt from the County's competitive bidding requirements pursuant to Section 22.3-302(13) of the Alachua County Procurement Code, which permits the County to purchase Supplies or Services under Contract with cooperatives, including cooperatives that the County participates in accordance with Article 10, Section 22.10-201 (Cooperative Purchasing Authorized), providing the vendor extends the same terms and conditions of the Contract to the County.
