Background:

The National Register nomination of an historic church in the City of Gainesville was reviewed by the State of Florida National Register Review Board on February 2 and recommended for listing.  The County Historical Commission submitted a letter of support for this meeting.  Now the process requires review by the National Register Review Board, and a letter from the County Commission will provide additional support to the effort.
