The Transportation Alternatives Grant will be fully funded by Federal transportation dollars, and implementation will be undertaken by the Department of Transportation, with no impact to local funds.

Background:
Each year, the Florida Department of Transportation requests application from the County for the Transportation Alternatives Program for areas outside the Metropolitan Transportation Planning Organization boundary. The City of Archer has submitted a proposal to extend Archer Braid Trail from its current terminus into the City.
In addition, Staff will update the Commission on several ongoing projects, and the status of grant applications being submitted by the County.
