Background:
The County managed pharmacy is a proposal brought forward as a result of staff’s continuous effort to contain cost of the health insurance plan while maintain or improving employee benefits.
Part of this recommendation is to open a Pharmacy in which $352,000 in implementation expenses is expected but $400,000 is planned for in case unforeseen expenses increase during renovation and implementation.
