Background:
Crime Stoppers is funded through the Crime Stoppers Trust Fund to provide cash awards for information leading to an arrest. Our local chapter serves Alachua, Gilchrist and Levy counties. Each year, our local chapter applies for funding through the Crime Stoppers Trust Fund; most recently, they were awarded just over $100,000. The attached Chair Letter authorizes our local chapter to serve as our agent through June 30, 2026.
