Background:
The FDOT has sent three supplemental agreements to adjust three LAP Grants project budgets with the history and detail listed below:
NE 53rd Ave at Animal Services
November 28, 2018, Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) approved FDOT LAP agreement for NE 53rd Ave and Animal Services in the amount of $767,627 for intersection improvements.
On May 1, 2021, a LAP supplemental agreement was approved by Ramon D. Gavarrete, P.E. on behalf of the County. Supplemental agreement reduces funding for the intersection improvements by ($203,000). Unanticipated revenues resolution and budget amendment needs to be approved to match adjusted funding from the FDOT.
CR235 at NW 94th Ave and CR329 at SE Williston Road
September 14, 2017, BoCC approved FDOT LAP agreement for design of intersection improvements for CR235 at NW 94th Ave ($1,500) and CR329 at SE Williston Rd ($1,000).
November 12, 2019, BoCC approved FDOT LAP agreement for construction of intersection improvements for CR235 at NW 94th Ave ($117,000) and CR329 at SE Williston Rd ($66,000).
June 14, 2022, BoCC approved FDOT LAP agreement for additional construction funding of intersection improvements for CR235 at NW 94th Ave ($14,354) and CR329 at SE Williston Rd ($30,118).
August 26, 2022, a LAP supplemental agreement was approved by Ramon D. Gavarrete, P.E. on behalf of the County. Supplemental agreement increase fund for intersection improvements for CR235 at NW 94th Ave ($2,000) and CR329 at SE Williston Rd ($2,000). Unanticipated revenues resolution and budget amendment needs to be approved to match adjusted funding from the FDOT.
Total adjusted budget for the FDOT LAP grant for Construction of CR235 at NW 94th Ave is $133,354 and original design was $1,500 for a total funding of $134,854 from FDOT for this project.
Total adjusted budget for the FDOT LAP grant for Construction of CR329 at SE Williston Rd is $98,118 and original design was $1,000 for a total funding of $99,118 for FDOT for this project.
