Description:

Unanticipated Revenue for Career Source for all Notice of Funds Available received during the 3rd Quarter, April 2022 to June 2022, of FY22 and a budget reconciliation of prior NFA budgeted estimates to actuals.

Background:

Local Workforce Development Board 9 (LWDB 9) oversees career center operations, provided by CareerSource North Central Florida (CSNCFL), in Alachua and Bradford Counties and receives funding by State program year (July 1-June 30) through formula, discretionary and dedicated grant purposes. LWDB9 received new funding for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) in the amount of $174,046 for the period of July 1, 2021 to September 30, 2022, Disabled Veterans (DVOP) in the amount of $20,019 for the period of October 1, 2021 to December 31, 2023, Local Veterans (LVER) in the amount of $15,819 for the period of October 1, 2021 to December 31, 2023, and Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessments (RESEA) in the amount of $87,200 for the period January 1, 2021 to September 30, 2022. The budget was developed based on estimated revenues. The attached Budget Amendment accounts for these awards and provides a true-up between estimated and actual revenue for each grant.
