January 12, 2021, Board approved the solicitation award and contracts for BID 21-64 Annual Roadway Milling Services to (1) Hicks Seal Coating and Striping LLC dba Hicks Asphalt Paving and Concrete and (2) Superior Roadway Services LLC, in an amount not to exceed (NTE) $1,000,000.00 each annually, as the lowest responsible and responsive bidders meeting specifications.

Background:
This agreement is used to supplement roadway construction and maintenance operations crews. Public Works department does not have the specialized equipment to perform roadway milling. This agreement will be used for roadway resurfacing projects on an as-needed basis. The term of the original agreement was through September 30, 2021. This agreement had the option to renew for two additional one-year periods. This will be the second and final renewal.
Bid 21-64 Annual Roadway Milling Services advertised on June 3, 2020. The Deadline for receipt of Bid 21-64 Annual Roadway Milling Services was July 1, 2020; four (4) vendors responded.
