Background:

The State of Florida E911 Board met on January 19, 2023, to review and approve grant requests from Florida counties. The application submitted by the County was approved in the amount of $335,826 over a five (5) year period.

The regional GIS repository includes fifteen (15) North Florida counties. After considering three (3) companies that offer GIS repository services, region 3 selected Datamark, which have services that can be procured under General Services Administration (GSA) contract 47QRAA21D008D.  Each county’s public safety GIS data will be deposited in the GIS repository, maintained by DATAMARK, and available for any county to download and add to their public safety GIS database.  DATAMARK, is the public safety GIS team of Michael Baker International, Inc.

The resolution amends the FY23 adopted budget to recognize the grant revenue and appropriate the expenditures. The grant is a cost reimbursement agreement and will require an interfund loan in an amount not to exceed $335,826.00.

On November 8, 2022, Item #: 23-0003, the Board approved the State of Florida 911 grant application to the State of Florida E911 Board.
