Background:

In 2018, the Board authorized the acquisition of new Enterprise Permitting Software to replace the aging building permitting software, and enhance the electronic review processes for other functions. Since that time, Citizenserve has grown to include Code Enforcement, the Residential Rental Unit program and Public Works permitting. The Irrigation Permitting program needs to move from its current, County-developed permitting system and recognizes the benefits of having all of the County’s permitting consolidated. This amendment includes extension of the current agreement through December 31, 2024, the addition of four more licenses for the Residential Rental Unit Permitting program, the addition of two licenses for the irrigation permitting program, and the implementation of irrigation permitting and migration of their data into the new system. The current fiscal year cost for this amendment is $24,700, which covers through December 31, 2023. Ongoing costs thereafter increase by $7,200 annually.
