Background:

The Board of County Commissioners heard an initial audit presentation in October 2018 and directed the County Manager to continue audit processes for other county departments and programs as identified. Pursuant to Sec. 22.3-302 (12) of the Alachua County Code of Ordinances - ‘Exemptions from the source selection process: procurement of supplies or services under contract with federal, state, or municipal governments or any other governmental agency or political subdivision provided the vendor extends the same terms and conditions of the contract to the county’, this procurement is exempt from competitive bidding requirements.  The County is utilizing State of Florida Contract #84111600-20-1 for Financial and Performance Audits.  Pursuant to the State Contract, the County requested quotes from the state approved vendors and RSM US LLP was the selected vendor after all quotes were received and reviewed. This is a request to approve the Professional Services Agreement and Business Associate Agreement with and for RSM US LLP to provide the services.
