Background:

Alachua County Fire Rescue has twelve (12) bicycles that were used by the Reserve Program Bike Team.  The program was eliminated in FY2010.  The University of Florida Gator Medical Response Unit (GEMRU) has requested Alachua County declare the property surplus and donate the items to GEMRU.  The property will continue to be used for a public purpose.  A resolution is required to declare the property surplus and authorize the donation.
