Background:

At its November 2nd ULDC Workshop, the Board directed staff to prepare the proposed ULDC revision language.  Specifically, the revisions will allow:

1)                     Revisions to the RM zoning district (Mobile Home Parks) including smaller minimum acreage, smaller lot sizes and the ability to allow Recreational Vehicles (RVs).

2)                     Revisions to the Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) regulations to remove architectural similarity requirements as well as allowing ADU’s up to 1,700 sq ft in size.

3)                     Revisions to the Activity Center and TND design standards to allow for streets parallel and adjacent to existing roads but decreasing the allowed cross section to 48’ in width in such cases.
