Background:

Alachua County was awarded $750,000.00 for the FFY 2016 Small Cities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Housing Rehabilitation Grant, Grant # 18DB-OM-03-11-01-H03, to rehabilitate eligible homes throughout the unincorporated areas of Alachua County that are very low income, low income, or moderate-income households. The Total CDBG Cost will be $750,000.00, and the Total SHIP Local Leverage will be a minimum of $50,000.00. Therefore, the total CDBG Cost and SHIP Local Leverage will be a minimum of $800,000.00.

A Subgrant Agreement was previously entered between Alachua County and the State of Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO). This second modification (amendment) to the Subgrant Agreement will extend the agreement term through April 2, 2022, due to delays caused by the COVID-19 Pandemic.

This modification extends the Subgrant agreement beginning April 3, 2018 and ends on April 2, 2023.
