Background:
NE 225th Street and NE 69th Avenue are part of the Alachua County road system and, as such, are owned and maintained by Alachua County.
A portion of the western-most segment of NE 69th Avenue traverses a portion of tax parcel number 18688-000-000, where NE 225th Street connects with NE 69th Avenue.
The County has recently discovered that there is a discrepancy in the location. The dedicated right-of-way shown on the recorded plat and the deeds does not match the actual location of NE 69th Avenue where it connects to NE 225th Street which created a gap.
The property owners of tax parcel number 18688-000-000 agreed to donate all of their interest in the gap to Alachua County.
